Using your DSLR is a one day photography workshop taking place indoors in a studio style setting, teaching you the basics of photography and to help you get the most out of your DSLR. It runs from 10am until 4pm with a break for lunch.
This workshop is designed for those who are either absolute beginners to photography, those who haven’t yet managed to break out of auto mode, and those who know a bit about what they’re doing, but feel they could do a lot better if armed with a little more information.
As mentioned above, this workshop will take place in a studio like environment, typically a function room at one of Lancaster’s fine drinking establishments or hotels. They are generally quite a bit larger than most studios, giving more freedom for several people to be shooting at once, and allow for a more relaxed learning environment.
